Switch Crafting Text ALL Red 1.6 Switch

I am playing the 1.6.9 build 36 version on my Switch console, and every crafting/cooking recipe is showing red text for every single item, regardless of if I have this item or not. This means that when I go to cook/craft and see that I cannot make something, I have to check every fridge/chest to see what I’m actually missing.

Edit 11/6/24: After further testing, I’ve found that when a crafting item is in my inventory, the text for that item in the recipe list does turn black. However, the text color will not change for any crafting or cooking item in chests or refrigerators when I use the workbench or kitchen.

Yep! Having this issue too. For me it's only with the workbench. If I try crafting from what's in my pockets, it registers everything there correctly.

Same for both, advanced crafting is not working for the workbench and I'm getting mega lag specifically on my farm or in my house.

Same for both for me, too.

1. Twitchy frame rate freezing
   1. Mostly on the farm but I've not done a tone of venturing around since the update dropped
2. Zero counts on items needed for crafting
   1. When accessing the Workbench or a Fridge, items that are eligible for crafting (have enough resources) are active. Ineligible items where I don't have enough resources are inactive.
   2. The counts of resources needed to make the item are zero unless the item is in my personal inventory, in which case it shows the counts of what I have
   3. Items are still able to be crafted and consume the correct number of resources from adjacent chests/fridges, however I don't know how many of them I can make b/c I don't know how many of each resource I have left.

Same issue for me on Switch. Can't see any of my inventory in surrounding chests/fridges when using workbench or kitchen. Only shows up if it's in my backpack inventory.

I noticed that yesterday for me too! When cooking and crafting I noticed everything was in red even if I had it in my refrigerator. Annoying.

Having this same Switch issue with both workbench and fridge. Super laggy in those menus too.
