Procedural Generated Map

No thanks. Infinitely-sized procedurally-generated environments are for certain types of games, imho... and Stardew isn't one of those. Procedural-generation is only good, again in my opinion, for things like tasks/quests that are something you could already have been doing within the bounds of the game already or for a zone of the game that is built to be procedurally-generated.

Also, generating another town with procedurally-generated NPCs is WAY too ambitious. We've got a very small selection of people working on the code for this game, not some big triple-A studio with hundreds of programmers. The amount of additional code needed would be astounding! Additionally, I feel it would break the immersion/theme of the game for a lot of people. I mean... there are mods for having a well-defined nearby town with some cohesion and verisimilitude, and that's great, but producing a metric butt-load of random tables for procedurally-generating this? It'll be chaos! It won't make sense.
