Basket for extra carriable storage

Some type of temporary extra inventory space addition, like a basket for greenhouse crops that you carry and either adds spaces to your inventory, or plays as a chest/fridge storage that is separate from your inventory, but if you're carrying the basket in your regular inventory you can have the items as apart of your inventory, but if you don't have the basket the inventory amount is normal and you can only access the crops if you interact with the basket, etc...

You know about the bigger baskets you can buy at Pierre's, don't you?
And then I have chests everywhere in the village, in front of every mine and on the island, sometimes even a Junimo chest too.

I think something like that could be an addition that works within the story of the game but wouldn't feel all that useful. I'd assume it wouldn't be usable in the mines or just would be a pain and barring the mines you don't really pick up a huge chunk of items.

If you're just leaving it at the top of the mines and coming back every so often it's just a chest that you make one trip back home with.
